Laura Nedelak is a long-time, Whistler local, folk-rock, singer/songwriter who plays the acoustic, electric and bass guitar as well as ukulele and has three studio albums to her credit. Laura performed during the closing ceremonies at Whistler’s Canada House Pavilion during the 2010 Winter Olympics and was selected to represent Whistler at The Zhangjiajie International Country-Folk Music Festival in China. Performing as a duo, Laura and her partner were awarded “Best Vocal Performance” for their original song, “Let Me In”. Laura can often be heard performing in the local bars and restaurants around town as well as on Whistler FM radio.
